Rosey, they are called door check links and I bought mine at the Filling Station. I own a 53 1/2 ton truck and don't know if they are the same as a car. I had to take doors and hinges off to install these check links. I had to take my hinge pins out and installed new ones when I put the check links on my hinges. If you call the Filling station they will help you. Thanks...Oscar http://www.fillingstation.com/radiator.htm

The link above will take you to the Filling Station's radiator page. For their homepage go here: www.fillingstation.com :)

The passenger car door check link is very different from that of a truck. To install a new one the cowl kick pad (card board) must be removed to gain access to the one bolt that holds the link in place.....not a difficult operation.
