There's a chassis not to far from my place that I'm looking to pick up,...however, having seen it there last year it seemed a bit larger than the average car,...it might have been just me and the way it appeared. So I was hoping someone would be nice enough to lend a hand and point me in the right direction or be able to furnish frame dimensions for 4 cylider cars of the period?

Thanks a million.

cowboy76 - If there is enough of the chassis there to determine wheelbase, you can use that information. The years you have listed have two lengths, 103 inches for 1925-27 and 107 inches for 1928, if it is a car frame. Some of the teen cars were 120 inches.

1 ton Truck frames had longer wheelbase than cars;
18-22 T (1 ton) 125" wb
1922 G (3/4 ton) 120" wb
1923 & 24 120" wb
1925 thru 28 124" wb
Light Delivery trucks (1/2 ton) use the same frames as 490 and Superior cars; then in 27 the Capitol, 28 the National then it's own frame in 1929.

34 & 35 trucks are the greatest. 36 high cabs are OK too.
