Well, I am getting closer to needing paint for my 1966 Chevelle, which is Paint Code F or FF. I am going to paint it Marina Blue Metallic. When I went to the PPG automotive paint store, they stated that:
1966 Marina Blue Metallic is PPG # 13148 1967 Marina Blue Metallic is PPG # 13364
Is there really a difference between the 1966 and the 1967 Marina Blue colors?

I believe that there was a difference. Check the mixing formula for both, if there is one.

I checked with Dupont Automotive Paints. Both 1966 and 1967 Chevelles could have come with Marina Blue paint with the Code F. Dupont has a different paint mixing formulas for each year. I checked back with PPG Paints. After the paint store operator called PPG, he also agreed that 1966 and 1967 Marina Blue are different colors. dtm

From memory the 1966 was the nicer color. I had a 1967 Impala wagon , Marina Blue, Demo.
