I saw a "quick" picture of your 1933 on the news last night. Was on a channel that I don't usually watch. A left rear view. Loked about the way a 1933 would have looked back then. No fancy white walls, etc.

Yes, we were in Columbus. At one point we were the car the unknowingly follows Dillinger out of town, but most of the time we were parked next to Fink's Furs behind a Ford pick-up. We were there for all the shooting days in Columbus, and there are rumors that they plan on asking us back for the Madison, and possibly other shoots. My mother claims to have recognized her garter hanging off the rear-view mirror in one clip that made the local news. We'll see.

They have run into some trouble, however, in that they have too many Fords and not enough other common-man vehicles. They've asked me to hunt up some '32-'35s that are not Fords or extremely high-end millionaire cars. They had to resort to a Pontiac that had obviously been street-rodded.

So I'm putting out the call: If you've got something, or know someone with something, you can look me up here, P.M. me and I'll give you the details.

They are looking for cars for Madison Columbus, Milwaukee, Chicago and Crown Pointe Indiana. They had one … a Ford … come in from North of Minneapolis.

Also, while I'm on the line, I heard a rumor that our trunk deck came from the factory with the stamping to turn it into a rumble seat without having to get a different trunk lid. I was told that this would be a dealer-installed option. True? Not sayin' we're gunna, just nice to know if it COULD be done.

ON the 1933-34 Master coupe the lid can be reversed and a rumble seat installed. The problem is that you will need the special rumble seat hinges and a portion of the wood at the bottom of the opening must be cut away. Its easier said then done.
