like to get a new center strip for my 36 coupe fellow is supposed to have good body parts from a 37 would it work also would coupe and sedan hood center strip be the same if one was longer could you just cut it off to fit

From time to time there is a guy selling NORS chrome hood hinges on Ebay. I just checked and there are none listed right now, but check back frequently. As I recall he asks about $60 for these. You might have to trim it to fit, but it's already chromed.

Filling Station list a chrome hood hinge for 35 Master at 38-5/16 inches long (modify to fit) for about $70.00

my hinge or strip as icll it is 37 i have a fs catloge have to look harder to find it my strip in good but need chrome i don t let go of any parts heard so many stories about not getting them back if hinge was chrome woulds complete body to very good shape hubcaps not to good think for reply have not looked at 37 yet as it about 50 miles away 37 was supposed to have been rear ened pretty bad and was not going to be fixed what got me to wondering if it would fit thinks again

I have a 36 hood center hinge you can have for the cost of shipping. It's in pretty good shape, but pitts show though old rechrome. I acquired a good one and had it rechromed. Send me details if you want it.

The 36 hinge is actually two hinges with a tapering centre moulding. It's wider at the front, so I doubt a 37 would fit.
