Larry--Sorry for misleading anyone one the price of the adapter, I guess I just thought I paid $40 when I bought the gears from you, a mind is a terrible thing to lose.

Hoppy, you know I got to thinking about it and with the first run I didn't offer the adaptors and a few people requested them and I got a few made up and maybe those did sell for $40.00. Like you said, a mind is a terible thing to lose. I'm very glad to hear you are pleased with the gears and enjoying them in your car.

It will keep up with the moderns as long as he remembers to keep gas in the tank. Sorry Hoppy, the devil made me type that! Those are some of the memories we keep from the VCCA tours with all our buddies, even some that we have to show?

I just placed an order with Mr. Jackson. The information he sends is very informative and he responds to e-mails very quickly.

Hey Larry, How is the sign up list coming? Are we getting close yet for you to order the gears? Hope so!

Hi Sal: Yes, the gears are ordered and are scheduled to ship May 30th. These gears will be bolted in, a big improvement over the riveting method. So few ring gears are riveted anymore, it's becoming more difficult to find shops with dies and the where-with-all to do the job. You'll have to drill the 10 holes in your carrier out to a drill size I'll specify. Drilling the holes shouldn't take more than 15-20 minutes. Then you'll torque the 3/8"-24x 1" bolts to 43 ft lbs and be done. This is going to be a good run.

It is amazing the interest a simple question can generate and all because we wanted our LP to be CDPC!

Thanks Larry for putting it all together. yay
