There is a very nice 30 Chevrolet on eBay, Item number: 120222631997. The ad has good detailed pictures. My question is about the cowl pin stripping at the windshield corner. Is 29 stripping the same as that shown for the 30?

Look close at the coil, valve cover, radiator hose, Model A bumper clamps, rubber valve stems, and tail light.

Nope....that is not a yes. I didn't look at the auction because I am on a dial up and when I went there it was going to take way too long to download the photos. To get accurate information regarding the correct pinstriping for a 1929 you might want to order one of the 1929 pinstriping drawings (depending upon which model you have) from the Filling Station since many restored cars with pinstriping are not totally correct.

wink :)

Filling Station Drawing for paint detail, 1930 Coupe, job 30557 and 30558, part number 357105, $7.50. This is well worth the money, very useful for correct restoration.
