Did they make a 1 1/2 ton dump truck in 1945? Someone has one for sale on Craigs list and I didn't think they made them in 1945. Am I correct?

Some trucks were made and sold during WW II. Late in 1945 civilian jobs were produced. They looked like 1941-2 trucks. Other trucks were made that had the Chevrolet cab but military, hood, grill and fenders. They were produced throughout the war. The serial number can identify the production month and assembly plant.

They made 1/2 ton pick-up trucks in 1945 and 1 1/2 ton chassis and cabs. Also made a special school bus chassis according to the 1945 sales literature that I have.
