The standard 1938 1/2 ton truck wheel was a 16" X 4" and was the same wheel as used on the 1937-38 passenger cars. There were eight slots in the hub. The 1939-48 wheel will work and is almost the same but has four chain slots. There was an optional 15" artillary wheel as an option but they would be difficult to find. The truck also used the same hub caps as a car.

The standard wheel for the 37-38 1/2 ton truck was wheel p/n 593998 a steel 6 lug hole 16"x4" wide rim and used a 16x6.00 tire. This wheel was also on the GA, GB, HA & HB master deluxe and Master cars. There is an optional wheel p/n 601772 steel artillery (6 lug) 15" x 5.50" rim that uses a low pressure 7.50-15" 6 ply tire @ 15 psi for light or fragile loads. And for you rural mud road drivers there was another high clearance option wheel p/n 602606 18" x 3.62 wire that uses a 18"-5.50 tire that was used for all the 1937-39 cars and 1/2 ton trucks. Note these steel artillery wheels have 8 slots in the spider unlike the older artillery wheels that had scallop holes in the spider.

34 & 35 trucks are the greatest. 36 high cabs are OK too.
