Hi
Can anyone give advice on grill shell. I have bought 2 37 pickup grills and they do not fit the housing? Have compared housing with that of 37 pass. car and the shells are different. The headlight mount on my shell is right for truck, (both vendors of the grill swear they are for truck) could I maybe have a gmc shell or ??? Truck was apart when I bought it.
Thanks
Mike

All the information I have indicates the grille for a GC (commercial 1/2 ton) is different than GA and GB (regular pass cars) by about 5/8" and they have separate numbers in the parts list.

Thanks Brian!
It seems that my shell or housing is for a truck, but just what truck is unknown? Both grills and I presume those that are available for trucks do not fit my housing, still looking....

The 1937 shell and grill are the same for all models in the truck line; shell& support p/n 602395 and grille-screen p/n 595192. The cars take a different shell and grille although very similar in appearance. In 1938 the grille screen and the shell are different for the trucks being deeper and straight across the top.

34 & 35 trucks are the greatest. 36 high cabs are OK too.
