I can barely restrain myself. Your handle includes the word "stock" and you are removing an engine and selling it. What will the replacement engine be?

OK. So we should expect more 28-parts to be for sale in the future to come. I do not say Hurray, but if the parts are usable to others they at least will be of help to someone.
I still wonder why you had to use a car in that condition when you wanted it that much changed. Hmmmmmmm.

Sure would save both of us a bunch of time if we just traded '28 Coach bodies. I am in process of rewooding a body with excellant sheet metal and poor wood (amateur restoration). Some pieces look to have been hacked out with a hatchet. So I need photos and dimensions or will be forced to make an educated guess. Can you take pictures of the wood before taking it apart? Or is it too late?

i'll do you one better, if you want to wait a bit, when i replace my wood with metal you can have whatever original wood pieces i dont use. i plan on using them as templates and machining metal pieces to the exact dimensions as the wood ones.

Just think of all the trouble, time, and money you would save if you kept the 28 original.

Sounds like a deal to me particularily if it is taken apart as carefully as practical. The rate I am going I will still need some patterns when you are finished with the wood. If it is close enough to a VCCA tour time it may be possible for a VCCA member to pick it up to save shipping cost too.

I am interested in the engine and a few other parts. I am not a member yet so I can't get the contact info from the classifieds. If you can call me at 812-383-4234 or 317-345-9591 that would be great!
