Hi I am new to the forum and the VCCA but not the hobby.
After owning a 1919 Chev touring for 30 years or so I have finally decided to restore it.
I have posted a scanned 1922 Canadian Parts List and "Instructions" booklet on a website I maintain under "Tech Library" in case some of you don't have this info.
Go to:
www.reginaantiqueauto.caI think it will just be a copy of the US booklet with a Canadian cover as I question how accurate it is for the Canadian built vehicles.
My '19 has the correct front fenders and serial number but '18 headlights and the 4 button switch panel, anomalies which I have also seen on other Canadian 490's.
For those of you with early 490's there is a Connecticut Igniter catalog in the Tech Library as well. Some Connecticut parts are for sale, respond through the website email.
The Canadian pre '18 Chevrolets were built by McLaughlin and their history can be found in "Cars of Canada" on the same site.
I will join the proposed 490 chapter to get it started.
Cheers
