I want to remove the Body from the frame.
Any advice, tip, tricks?

It's been a long time but I think I removed the bolts (6 or 8) then started lifting and blocking the corners until I could slide 3 or 4 2X6s under from side to side. They should be long enough to extend past the wheels and rest on some horses or stands. Once they are resting safely at the right height, roll your chassis out.
Sounds easy, doesn't it?

It actually is not too difficult. Just make double sure you do it safely with stable supports and make the lift in short steps. If you get one side to high it will want to slide or tip. Another way is to get five (six if you want to supervise) of your best and strongest buddies. Promise a little food and drink. Position them three on a side with hands on a strong board placed front, middle and rear of the body. Have them lift (with legs not back) and carry the body where ever you want it or lift it onto the supports.

I use heavy duty square tubeing and special built iron saw horses. The square tubing is long enough to clear the rolling chassis. I also remove the tires and wheels and roll the chassis out on the drums to keep from having to raise the body so high.
As Chipper suggested always keep SAFETY in mind.

Gary,
If you can get to the My Photos forum you might take a look at the 36 Chevy Coupe posted 12/13. I was able to lift the body with bumper jacks attached to angle iron in the front, and floor jacks attached to a wooden brace in the back, and then roll the chassis out. I just lowered it down on saw horses made the correct height. Was able to do this pretty easily and safely by myself. I have several pictures, if you are interested I can send you some.
