I am new to VCCA and would like to know more about the judgging in a VCCA events. could someone tell me about what a judged meet is like? also any judged events in Texas in 08? thanks

To explain judging in this forum would be difficult to do. Best to talk to a VCCA member who is familiar with the process or get a copy of the Judging Manual (available from the Judging Chairman for a nominal fee).
A VCCA judged event is being talked about for the Area 6 Joint Tour in Galveston, TX in mid-September. Don't think it is a done deal yet but if there is enough interest then I likely happen. It will not be a typical meet but have judging much the same as some of the All Cal Meets.

The Judging Manual and Judging forms are available on the Home Page, vcca.org. Left side tabs under "Judging."
There are a lot of active and helpful, fun-loving members all over the Great State of Texas. Depending on your location, consider joining a Region.

how tough is the judgeing? is it like NCRS where their looking at numbers?are is it more relaxed in that sense?
