I have found a few NORS parts, of which I don't know what it is, such as 4 or five boxes of water pump rebuild kits. They contain a new shaft, (approx 4 in. long) a new impellar, (w/curved blades) seal, gasket and other stuff. How do I find out what it is? One box says 41 chevy!!!

Well, the one with 41 Chevy could be a start. Check out the other WP kits and group them in like groups. Now here comes the tech reason for being able to post pictures. Take a digital picture of a WP kit from each unknown group and post it on the site, and ask "What year and engine does this fit?" then see what happens.
PS It would be a help to place a ruler next to the shaft so we can get a reference to actual size.
