My FIL's a WWII vet who confided the dream car of his youth. He described it as "A 1946 Chevy 2 door torpedo back w/Zebra striped seat covers"

Can anyone give me more information, internet searches are a deadend, I'd love to get him a die cast for Christmas.

Thanks
Al

Al; I have been looking for a 46 Aerosedan(Torpedo) for over 6 years and to this day I have never seen one nor do any dealers even have a listing for them. '48s yes but that"s it. I have found a model of one but it to was '47, '48. I'm sorry to say but you are sol. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. And it was the nicest year of the Aerosedan to. JMO of course. LOL.

Al; I meant I was looking for a Diecast. I am doing a body off on a '46 presently. That Buick is one nice looking car. The body is different than the Aerosedan. I believe thats the Dynamic B style. The Aerosedan shared the same body with the Olds 66 and Pontiac Torpedo I believe.
The Aerosedan that guy has listed is not a '46. It's either a '47 or '48. Center of the Dash is wrong and no full length trim from front of hood to rear.
