does the fender welt between the splash shield and the front fender run back along the running board to the rear fender,or end at the front of the board? This is on a 31 Chev.

Thanks woody

I ran a single piece from the end of the running board at the rear fender, past the front of the running board and along the front fender. I then ran a seperate one for the front and rear of the running board to the fenders. This is the only way I have ever seen it done.

Matt is correct that there was a single piece from the front fender splash apron junction (near the hood) along the running board and ending at the rear fender. There is another piece along the rear fender to body and gas tank apron joint. There is only an anti-squeek pad (fender welt without the bead) between the ends of the running boards and the fenders.
