Does anyone have advice about finding an interior upholstery "kit" for a 1926 Landau four door Sedan? The metal plate in my car says Job No 6740 Superior K Body 22320. I see that Hampton Coach sells a
complete interior upholstery kit for a 1927 four door Landau sedan ( but does not specifically list one for the 1926). I have "eyeballed" the 1927 Landau four door sedan at car shows and they sure look the same. Also what significance (if any) is indicated by the Job number and body numbers? Thanks.

Hampton Coach is your best bet. Otherwise you are beating the bushes to find material that is correct for your car.

Job No 6740 = 1926 five passenger Landau sedan.

Superior K Body 22320 = sequence number of assembled Fisher bodies.

You should also find a data plate that says = Superior K and on the second line a combination of letters and numerals.

Remove the front seat cushion, look on the back side of the front board, and give us that number. It should correspond to the body number above.

For further information about your car, copy all the numbers on the head and block. If you remove the exhaust manifold, you should find a number stamped on the flange where the manifold was mounted that matches the number located on the data plate. Post this information here.
