I have a 1940 Chevrolet Special Deluxe 4-Door that had heater and defroster switch on the left side at the bottom of the dash. There was not heater in front, but there was also a rear heater under the front right seat on the floor.
I am trying to locate the correct front heater/defroster unit for this model. Does anyone know the correct heater/defroster unit for the model? If you know a mfg. name or model number that will help me get the correct unit.
Thanks,

Your 1940 Chevrolet has an accessory under seat heater which is correct for a 1940 and the first year that it was offered. The defroster was a seperate unit mounted on the firewall. They also offered two different dash mounted heaters in 1940 but the under seat was the latest and the greatest. I sent you some pictures. :)

I would be interested in either of your units. Please drop me an e-mail and let me know your asking price.
Thanks,
