I ran across a set of NORS hubcaps. I was told they are for 1932 & 1933. They are 1 piece cast aluminum w/ tabs riveted on the insides. Are these for the 1932 & 1933's & will they fit 1/2 ton trucks also? ![[Linked Image from shutter08.pictures.aol.com]](http://shutter08.pictures.aol.com/data/pictures/04/00A/77/FF/42/EA/6bsebalWn5czVP6SovorGRtUGIq6YrNj0300.jpg)

They are NOT for the 1933 Eagle/Master.

I believe the hub caps are the one's that Paul Hammon from Lansing ,MI had reproduced. They were also used on the all the 33 1/2 ton and the pre-March built 34 1/2 ton trucks. Paul was one of founding members of Lower Michigan Region. He died a few years back. Paul at that time had a 1933 1/2 ton wood station wagon that was made by the Mifflinburg Body Co. in PA.

34 & 35 trucks are the greatest. 36 high cabs are OK too.

The reproduction hub cap fits 1930-32, the 1933 series CB and the 1934 series DB. :)

Gene, I don't think that cap is the right diameter for a 35 Standard. The front view is similar but your cap would have more dome than the relatively flat profile of the earlier cap.
I'm glad some of you remember Paul Hammond. We met him and his wife Rosie at Hershey in 1974. He was reproducing the bumper end and face bolts I needed for my 35 Standard and I was really glad to find them. They are still on my car today.
At the time, Paul was looking for parts to restore what he believed to be the VERY FIRST Suburban. He was missing the rear tailgate and upper door. There was a beautiful pair of panel rear doors a few spaces down from his but he had been too busy to look around. I took him to see them and he bought them even though they were not what he was looking for. His dash panel was full of extra holes and I sent him a good one when I got home. We visited them at Hershey the next year or two and also at the 1976 15th Anniversary Meet of VCCA in Colorado Springs. We rode up Pikes Peak with them in the 1933 Wagon. I don't think Paul made much progress on the Burb before he died. I don't know what happened to it but I saw a restored one at Nashville in 1986 (?). It was missing the upper door and I wondered at the time if it was Paul's truck.
I was about 25 when I met paul, he was great to me and I marveled at his enthusiastic outlook even though his health was not too good at the time. I think of him every time I see those bolts on my car or when I am browsing through old photos of our Hershey and Colorado trips.

Thanks Guys. I knew you guys around here would be able to ID them. Glad to see these caps also rekindled a few memories from one of our fallen club members.
