Can i use the master cylinder from a 1951 for my 1947? The one in the 47 is siezed and the one from the 51 is not. I know the brake and clutch pedals would have to be changed over to the 51 cylinder.

Thanks

Pete

Yes, the master cylinders are the same....almost.
If the 1947 cyl is the original one the connector block on the back of the 1951 cyl must be used. If it was replaced after 1950 with a new one it would already have the new conn. block.
example-if a new M/cyl was purchased in 1953 it would fit a 1940-52 but for the 1940-48 the later connector block would need to be used...other than that all the same. :)

Thanks Gene. I was hoping it was the same.
