during WWII when parts were non existent I was with a friend and his father on a weekend trip to their old farm. Driving an old 28/29 Olds or Buick. The return spring on the points failed, so every couple of miles we had to stop, friends father would pull the points and with the help of several rubber bands found in the glove box, repair them and then drive until the rubber band broke. Took a long time to get home. talk talk talk

Well, allllriiighhht!

This is what I love about this site: you have a problem, you get good advice, you fix the problem.

I don't think I've read a thread yet where I haven't learned something that either has, does, or will help me with this stuff, sometime.

Anyway, WTG!
