Hi all, after 5 yrs of tinkering I finally got my 35 Master Sport Sedan painted (looks good too), so I was wondering if there was any pinstripe on it that came from the factory?

Yes, there should be pinstriping. If you are doing it as original there are certain paint/stripe combinations. Let us know what color you painted the body and we can advise the stripe color.

it is black, the original color, but since I painted the wheels red I was thinking a red stripe to match, I just am not sure where to put it (on the raised rib the runs the length of the body?) Bob

The 1935 Master Sport Sedan in black would have been paint combination #184. The stripe would be Gold Bronze and the wheels black with a gold stripe The artillary type wheel was used on the Sport Sedan. If the car was a coupe or coach it would have had wire wheels. The wires were available in black, cream or red and did not have a stripe. The body stripe would still have been gold.

Bob:
I found the previous discussion on this topic from December '04. Here's the link:

If that doesn't get you there, use the "Search" feature above and go to the '33-'36 Forum, and use 'pinstripe' as the keyword and hit enter. Works for me.
