Hi, I found in my collection of bits(junk)a genuine Chev carbon clutch throwout bearing holder. It is the the type that has a split machined in it,and a bolt & nut to clamp the carbon bearing up solidly in it.The part number is not listed in either my 1947 or 1954 Maple Leaf Parts books, and I was wondering if anyone could identify it for me somehow. The part number cast into it is:
835775
and it also has the "bowtie" cast into it as well.
Thanks.

That is a 1929-30 throw out bearing collar. You need a much older parts book to find that number.
