Is anyone making an oil filter adaptable to a 194 engine? :confused: :confused: :confused:

Not sure why you want an oil filter but you have several options. The accessory oil filter made for 216 and 235 engines (bolts onto the manifold) will work. Fram and others made them also. There are also spin-on filters with adaptors made for old cars. Don't know for sure but suspect you can adapt one of them to work on your engine. You will need to modify the oil distribution valve to permit enough flow to route enough oil through the filter to divert enough flow to actually filter any oil. Then you will have the question if you happen to plug the filter does it bypass or starve the main bearings?
