I am looking for a source for a pair? of OEM rear speakers for 64. What is the correct # ? Any information is appreciated. Mel Goddard

Only one speaker was used for the rear speaker in a 1964. The body style dictaded the location and size of the speaker. Provide me the body style and model and I will help you with a speaker.

Hi Mel, The correct rear speaker for your car is a 6X9 10 Ohm speaker. It is located under the package shelf in the place prepared for it. The convertible and sport coupe used a 4X6 10 ohm speaker located in the place prepared for it in the top center of the back seat back rest. The 1964 Accessories Installation Reference Manual will show how the rear seat speaker fader is mounted and the routing of the single wire to either under the package shelf or to the special spot in the rear seat back. Do you have the core?
