Reading the 1933 Standard Hood thread and see the Standard has 5 lug wheels. I have access to a set of four 5 lug Oldsmobile Wire Wheels with Caps and they are also 5 stud - what year(s) would they be? Any idea what year(s) Chevy they would fit? I was hoping they would fit a Master!!??? Alas, not so, eh!

Thomas,
I doubt if any Olds wheel will fit the '33 Standard Chevy. It is a 4.25 inch pattern and very unusual.

The only Chevrolets to have 5 lug wheels were the 1933-36 Standards. Other than that every one prior to 1949 had 6 lug wheels.
Oldsmobiles from 1933 and up has artillary wheels. Prior to that had wood spoke or wire wheels....but they did not fit any chevrolet. A picture would help me to identify the wheels (along with the tire sze). The rim diameter is measured from where the bead sits in the rim. Hub cap picture would also help.

Prior to 1933,Oldsmobile used, along with the large demountable wooden spoke wheels(the whole rim, tyre & spokes were changed as one assembly)and wire wheels. The '33 Olds was also the first year
that the "spider" type of steel wheel(much like the '36 Chevs used)and prior to that, back further than '33(from 1926 to 1930),they also had available as an optional extra, steel disc wheels, much like the '27/'28/'29 Chevs.
The disc wheels for Olds in '26 were 21",in '27 they were 20",
and in '28/'29/'30 they went to 18" wheels for all U.S. domestic cars. All RHD export models from '27 used 20" wheels, whether they were wooden spoked, wire or disc.
Up to 1927,Olds used the same 6 bolt pattern and PCD as the Chevs did up to 1929.In 1928,Olds went to a 5 bolt pattern, and a larger PCD.
