Hey Dog, my guess is that backroads is suggesting "if you watch it they will continue to show it".
I don't make it a habit to watch. If I do happen to see it, the idiotic squabbling and wining turns me off just as much as the chopping up of perfectly good cars does.
So...when a TV show turns me off, I turn it off!

I've gone pretty easy on the Boydster. Saying things like 'to each his own' and so on. Now Louis tells us itsa 59 Corvette this time. That may be problem. I had one years ago. Beautiful car. Boyd's 59 had better look good when he's done, or else.....
I suppose it doesn't matter. I'll never see it anyway. Apparently we don't get the show any more here in PDX. It used to be on the Discovery Channel. I guess my cable company didn't like him either!!!

What do you guys think of Boyd's guys cutting and sanding on the Vette with clouds of dust and etc all around them and no one is wearing any lung protection at all? Plus cutting fiberglass without any eye protection either. Does Boyd care? I would think his insurance carrier would care a lot.
It was bad enough when they did all of that sanding with clouds of Bondo dust in the air from steel cars but now it is a fiberglass car with fiberglass dust and etc in the air that they are breathing into their lungs while cutting and sanding...
Is this a problem or going to be a problem for them in their future or am I parnoid?

 How about on last night's episode when Boyd had Wayne can the girl. I guess Mrs. C got her knickers in a knot over something the girl said one time and she apparently wanted her out. All the guys were amazed as the girl had been doing a good job. I guess the bigger cat always wins the fight!!!

Yep, the girl was canned because Mrs. Boyd (who really runs the shop) had Dwayne (the shop foreman) fire the girl for no reason and Boyd (who is also controlled by Mrs. Boyd) didn't have the guts to step in and stop it. Gator: Yep, you are being paranoid. As Oscar said; if the dudes (who are supposed to be professionals......?) are dumb enough not to wear protection then who cares since they know the risks. :) :grin:

Man, that just goes to show that you shouldn't get all stressed out with your work and try to "keep up with" a new younger wife, or work around hazardous materials and all of those tools on a scripted T.V. show without proper environmental protection. liver failure, probably too many toddies, over a long period of time, but that is just a guess. that is sad regardless of what one may have thought about him. MGHMOHS
