I have a '34 5-Window Coupe. The area of concern is the rearmost bracket where the sill kickup and rear cross sills are mounted. On the kickup side of the bracket there are two beveled holes for woodscews. Then there is a straight hole which lines up with one in the wheelhouse, making it the rearmost of three in the wheelhouse which I assume is for a third carriage bolt. There is a gap between the tin and the wood at that point since that is behind a bulge in the wheelhouse. Am I missing some wood there or was there a spacer between the sheet metal and the sill kickup?

Thasnks, Pat

Ok,

I'll rephrase my question. Is the outside edge of the rear sill kickup flat or does it follow the contour of the inner fender?

Thanks, Pat
