I know it is a dumb question.
The restoration cut wires to signals, horn etc.
Have everything working except: Horn, signals.
Put new signal light switch in.I know I have to connect these wires. This is not the problem.
But found wire to ground horn under dash, not connected.
Question is: Where does it connect to?
Have a shop manual . Shows to go from S terminal on horn relay to horn button.
But my question is how does it go and connects to?What?Where?
I know someone out there knows.

Well, maybe I can clarify the situation better.
I have removed the steering wheel turn signal housing and can not see any wire or where the horn wire is suppose to be connected.
I know the wire from the horn relay goes to the horn button some way , but which way?
I am definately not an electrician.
So any help will be appreciated.

You will not see the wire from the top of the steering mast. only were it comes out 2/3 of the way down on the mast. At the top it is attached to the brass shell of the upper steering mast bearing. and is solderd inside the mast (bottom section of the bearing). It should be a brownish wire sticking out of the colum with a male connector. There should be its female connector mate (single wire) hanging unde the dash.

I have the wire under the dash but no other wire from the steering column , except the signal wires.
So I have to remove the bearing and solder a wire to that brass ring?

Your just better off to order in a new bearing unit with the wire attached. I have yet to sucsesfully pull the bearing with out damage. Altho I bet one of the greater minds here may have a trick to share.

Where would I find this item?

Well I found where to order the bearing assembly, BUT how do I pull the old one out? Do I remove the mast and punch out the bearing and assembly , if that is possible? Not any space between the bearing and the shaft?
I'm usally pretty resourceful, but I guess untill I see the new one, ?

It is not as bad as you may expect. You can loosen the clamp at the bottom of the steering column, remove the bolts where the mast is secured on the lip of the dash. Now you should be able to remove the steering mast. Punch the bushing/bearing/horn contact out from the bottom and install the new one.

Sounds like you have been there. I ordered a new bushing,bearing, horn contact , so when I get it I can install it, hopefully and again thanks to you.

Well, we can put this one to rest. I oiled up the old one(bearing- horn brass contact) good and let it set for the time it took to get the new part. I tried a chisel to bump up on the brass part and low and behold it moved and came right on out, the bearing was dry ,but ok so I lubricated it up and wire was still attached, but short, added wire to it and put it back in and the horns work fine.
