I have several inst. panel spkr. grilles. I know the 49&50 will interchange. Some of these have a background painted black and some are painted gold. Do these colors designate what year they are?

The 1949's were gold to blend with the brown dash and general brown interior color theme....The 1950's used black to blend with the general gray interior colors.
