I have reviewed several past posts on the sealers - the old 'yellow' (what I have now and a leaking fuel tank), the 'white' and 'RedKote'. It seems like the 'white' sealer or 'RedKote' appears satisfactory.

What about a 'purple' sealer (a Johnson Product) which one of the local radiator shop uses and recommends? Is it better / worse than RedKote?

Correction: The purple tank sealer is is called "Northern Tank Liner", see http://www.northernfactory.com/specialty/detail.asp?part=RW0125-1

It is also available as a 'Tank Liner Kit" (available locally for $50.00), see
http://www.northernfactory.com/specialty/detail.asp?part=RW0125-9
