Do an image search in Google for 1928 Chevrolet. Sift through the photo's there are plenty.
Do a site search as the wooden frame has come up a few times on this site before.
There are company's supplying frames, if going it alone check check check your sizes, I would make a pine mock up first before committing to hard wood. I wish I had!
Emailed some pics, lifted from the web & the only other 28 I've seen in the flesh!

There are a lot of "28" tourers around. You need to be specific in what you want photos of particularly with the wooden rails.
If you send me an email I can take some general photos. So far as the wooden rails a friend is restoring a car and the woodwork is still exposed.
Perhaps someone else in Australia has the woodwork committed to a drawing.
I will be around for a week and then head off to the UK for six weeks.
You could send me some images so that I can see where you are with it all. Gil Skidmore of Sydney Vintage Car Restorations is currently doing a "28" ute which has a lot of features common to the tourer. Log on to "svcr.com.au" go to current restorations and take a look.
