Have a request from a nice family that wants to identify the car that their grandparents used to own.

Can you help out?

The Imperial Landau I have bought just this week has body number K 498 and was assembled at Kansas City around the middle of May, 1929. Several hundred each could have been made at each factory location. Production records are incomplete for '29.

How many '29s that have 20" wire wheels do you see that have the correct '29 rear spare wheel carrier? It's part number is 348908. I happened to have one, and some other rare '29 parts. So I had a choice. Should I sell the wheel carrier, which I think would be hard to find, or should I buy a 1929 Chevrolet that needs a correct spare wire wheel carrier? What do you think happened?
