I want to support Joe Smith's comments about the work the Board of Directors continues to do on this subject. Several of us are working on a language change that would include Special Interest groups. the new language appears to have helped resolve some Board member concerns. We are not over the hump as yet but certainly are on our way to responding positively to your request. Please be patient a bit longer while we work through this language change.

37Blue never left, only been really preoccupied otherwise. I've been monitoring the "progress" when possible. I figured the plan was to wait until the March meeting to see how it turns out.
My sense is the opposition will in time be replaced with more progressive thinkers and the changes needed/sought will happen.
Thanks for your help.

Ray, # 18 is here also. I do check in pretty often but thought that we were hanging out until March. I am behind you 100%. I just do not post a lot of things. I am here usually to pick the brains of all the smart guys so that I can get my 31 coupe back together. Thanks for all your work.

24 pages guys, is the end of the group and this thread?

Would it be premature to start an electronic news letter?

I dont think it is the end of the group but now that all is official might be the end of this thread and move on to the electronic newsletter.
I still support the office bearers but as I am only 1 voice I will go with the majority.

Hey Kepi, don't worry about it. You are doing fine, checking in once in a day or two is plenty, if you are not around for a few days it is ok. After all we don't really require constant attention. Just so that we know you are still with us, and haven't jumped ship.

Your innuendoes are totally unwarranted....especially since you were asked to volunteer and you said no. We are not criticizing you for your decision so don't criticize us for ours. If you have a problem then contact us directly....otherwise drop it.

wink :)

hey, fellas, let's stay focused on the real issues...

based upon my exchanges this past week, all of the charter members are still very committed to getting our new chapter operating...I am grateful that everyone is doing all they can individually in this endeavor...

I am also very encouraged that, once operational, there are many more that wish to join...

I have it on good authority that our documents are enroute, so let's be glad about this development, and appreciate everyone's efforts in achieving this important step...I'll be certain to keep you updated...

so, have a happy and safe holiday...go out and enjoy good bubbacue, family, friends, & chevrolets...and, as you celebrate our great nation's birthday, remember those that are serving her around the world...

I was not replying to US and don't know who you mean by We

I don't believe in that word (innuendoes) come right out and say what you want, you always do.

Ok, here is the deal JYD......
You drop the spam and the Macky Wacky crap and
....I'll drop the [Linked Image from pic1.picturetrail.com] I never knew why you dropped out of the Director's office and I don't care. Have a good Fourth.

Will somebody please tell me what the 'figure' is in Mac's recent posts. It doesn't show up very well on my screen and I'm curious to know what it is....

Thanks.

I think it is a poor drawing of a rooster, but still better than I could do just the same.

Hey Tony,

Yeah, I guess so. A rooster. Or maybe a turkey. Maybe a chicken. Not sure what Mac is trying to say. Of course that's not new.... I didn't understand his question on the last page. So I asked for clarification. Didn't get any. Whatever....

Well, thanks Tony.

Bill.

What is up with the Chat Chapter? Is this still alive or did it die a slow death?
