OP kipper sarnie Oil Can Mechanic Joined: May 2005 Posts: 563 VERY Merry Ol' England!	This might save you some heart ache & some bucks. For the past couple of weeks my PC has been very unstable, not firing up, Blue Screen of Death, freezing, that sort of thing. I've tried reboot from disc, virus scans, registry clean, hardware checks from manufacturers via the web, all the usuals, to no avail. Yesterday it was a total pig! Part of my job is working with electronics on mobile cranes & a lot of the electronic problems I encounter are caused by cables & connections, seldom the hardware. So yesterday having a spare "Hard drive to motherboard cable" I changed it.....Wow!! Firing on all 4 again. And to think I nearly got the 14lb hammer out!
