I'm restoring an original mascot and an having trouble finding the hard gasket material that's under the brass seal. Does any know what it's make of or where I can purchase the right material. My local automotive shops can't help

What type of mascot are you working on? Is it a Viking radiator cap or an Eagle radiator cap?
