Hello, does anyone repair steering wheels? have two cracks,looks like the material has shrunk. is there a do it yourself kit? thanks

Do a search on Chevy Chatter II because this subject has been discussed before and, as I remember, there is a lot of information that might help you with your question.

Also, check in Hemmings Motor News because there are several companies listed that do steering wheel restoration.

Eastwood has got a couple of different "Repair Kits" for sale in their catalog - 10% off till June 30. #521942 COMPLETE steering wheel kit with instructions,$29.99 or MASTER (should be good for Chevys, EH!) kit with Restoration Book & instructions, $40.99. They have a forum at: forumeastwood.com or web site at: www.eastwood.com. Hope this helps & you can say I "repaired it myself!" - what restoration is all about, EH!
