I've got a rebuilt 235 to install in my '50 chevy pu. Problem is, i'm not sure what year model it is. My reference material ends in about '54, so i'm coming to the experts to help me out. The casting # on the block is 3769716. S/N is F1219A. I'm thinking it is an early '60's block, but i'm not sure. Other lettering/numbering on the block is GM 19, CON 4, L160. Thanks in advance for any info you might have.

The site http://www.inliners.org/becks/BCN2.html shows (3768716) to be a 235 engine block from a 60 or 61 truck (F0361A) (F1204J)

Agree- a 1960 thru a 1962 - and all parts the same for those years.

From the date stamp it appears your engine was cast on Dec 16, 1960.
