On Saturday, June 2nd I received what I thought was my May edition of G&D....It wasn't....Wait for it!.......It was The June edition!!! Honest! For Real! Front cover 1949 Styleline Deluxe Sports Coupe! Back cover 1929 4 door Sedan! I recon that the editors are having a good laugh at this! Two days into June & I have Junes edition of G&D here in Very Merry Ol' England!! Possibly ahead of you State side Guys! I've checked & double checked..Volume 46 Number 6 June 2007. That means increase in cost to VCCA but much faster delivery to our International members. How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!

This must be due to a new regulation from US government as I have just heard a rumour of all packages to foreign countries will only be sent by air from now on. No reasonable surface/ship transport will be obtainable any more. This is quite dramatic if it is true. Can anyone confirm this change? IMHO: With the dramatic increase of international postage the VCCA will have to pay (as mentioned in G&D June), and from now on, we outsiders will have to accept the new postage and pay the extra bill. So the BOD must ask us for the extra cost when the membership secretary is asking the next fee, as the increase will make it very difficult for the club to get in balance otherwise.
