I am adding factory power brakes to my original 6 cylinder Nova SS. I need to know which way the tube for the low pressure line points out the back of the reservoir. Also, the brace that goes from the firewall to the steering column bracket, where the brace bolts to the bracket, does it bolt on the outside or inside face of the bracket? Any pictures would also help.

I have a facotry assembly manual and have not gotten the right angle to tell how these questions are answered.

Thanks

The illustration in my 1966 Chevy II assembly manual shows the brace mounted to the inside of the steering column bracket assembly.

I would be happy to scan the illustration and email it to you.

Thanks for the offer. I have it installed already. Now I am trying to find a "striker" to buy or copy. It never ends.
