I just sent another picture to Jim (and to Bill) and hope it will be accepted and used in the calendar for next year.

Hopefully you guys also have sent Jim your contribution (pictures) to help making each month with a lovely Chevy pictured?????

I've got 10 months covered not including the photos you are sending me. I still haven't heard anything about sponsorship, but I'm going the the Crawford Museum Father's Day car show and I'll try to drum up some support for our club.
By the way, any photos of Chevy items would be nice to add to the calendar - e.g., buttons, OK used car signs, Chevrolet Super Service, etc. - whatever you have could be a nice addition!

As to the sponsorship, please contact Michael Welch/Mike 41 at once, as he is in charge of the PR in VCCA. He coordinate that work, so he will help you.

Hope the pictures from 1915 and 1929 will appear soon.

Hope all caleandars for 2007 are sold by now??!! I heard rumours that all months have got their calendar car for 2008 already.

I don't understand why Sloan is always rushing things so much. It seems he's constantly harping about getting the pictures to Jim. Now he's doing the same thing for 2009. What's the hurry?? Is the 2008 calendar 'full' already??

The 2008 calendar is coming together nicely, and yes I do have all 12 now. I should have it completed soon.
Again, I need to get some numbers together as to how many we will need printed. Watch for a small write-up in the G&D probably in September.

Yes, Bill the calendar for 2008 is full, as Jim confirms above. From my work helping Jim to collect enough pictures through the last three years, and also promote the sales to reach a certain minimum order, I know he has had many difficulties even to get enough pictures for only one year = 12 pictures!!!!! and in time to get the calendar printed and shipped before end of a year.

So, my friend, I find it necessary to remind all you good guys and girls to remember sending pictures of your beauties to help Jim do his superb job, and in due time.

I also have tried helping him to clear the remaining stock which would be his own loss if not sold. That is unacceptable in my mind, as his vauable work is done on a non-profit basis.

As far as I can read in the G&D, the editor also asks for car pictures, so why not send your best shots both to Jean and Jim at the same time by email?
