There's no such thing as a dumb question...right??? How do I take my headlight out? I only can easily remove a screw from the outer ring. After removing this screw the ring didn't come off. I can see screws behind the inner ring but cannot access them. Do I have to force the outer ring off or is it something with the inner ring?

First you remove the one screw on the bottom of the outer headlight cover, and remove. Once that is removed, you will see the chrome retaining ring. There are 3 screws holding the retaining ring on the fender, and holding the headlight in. Remove those 3 screws, and unplug the headlight. When installing new sealed beams make sure to line up the 3 tabs on the sealed beam unit. "Dont disturb the the aligning screws, these are the screws with springs attached" as these are used for aligning the headlights.

Hi cortezcrew, After you have removed the single screw on the bottom, use a screwdriver to pry the ring off working from the BOTTOM where you removed the single screw. The follow the instructions by SARGE.
