Should the '32 pedal pads have a bowtie?
Thanks.

That was a good one Gene. Was 1932 the first year for those?

I`ve been told that my bowtie pedal pads are not correct on my 31, that said, why does my genuine Chevrolet Master Parts book list rubber pedal pads part number 364022, 1929-36? Also there is a picture of pedal pads for sale in a dealer show floor in the 1931 service bulletins.

Chevrolet pedal pads (part number 363984) first appeared as a genuine Chevrolet accessory in mid-1932. This accessory would be a retro-fit for 1931 since they were released into service in 1932. In later parts books, the part number was changed and the application was generalized (as was common practice by Chevrolet) to fit all models back to 1929, even though the pedal pads were not offered as a genuine Chevrolet accessory until mid-1932. For judging purposes the pedal pads would not be a correct accessory for 1929 thru 1931. The pedal pads shown in the June issue of the 1931 Service News are aftermarket items. They are not OEM (original equipment manufacturer). :)

I learn more every day. If the 29 had no pedal pads, did it have pads for the other floor pieces like the Dimmer Switch, Accelerator and Starter Caps, and did it have boots for the Gear Shift and Emergency Brake?

Negative!! The accelerator pedal, dimmer switch and starter pedal covers were part of the accessory pedal package that was released into service in mid-1932. And, the boots for the gearshift lever and emergency brake lever are items that I&I Reproduction came out with years ago to make a buck. No such items were ever used on 1929 through 1932 Chevrolets. :)
