I'm posting this for a friend who has a '36 pickup. We are trying to determine the proper routing of the fuel line between the fuel pump and the carb. I have a few pictures of mid-30's engines (from Victor Page's Chevy Six book) that show two routes, one under the thermostat housing (over the timing chain cover) and one that goes over the thermostat housing. Does any one for certain how the '36 half-tons were?

Thanks in advance for helping!

See my answer under you other inquirery. Over is the answer.

34 & 35 trucks are the greatest. 36 high cabs are OK too.
