I got the May 2007 G. & D. yesterday, and I loved it. I always get it the first week of the month.
My only "complaint" is I read it cover to cover in about 15 mins.....But I re-read it over & over & over & over. I even called on some "Parts for Sale" fro this months listings.
My fav' parts of G&D are the general articles, letters from the Pres. or Board members, new features and stuff regarding VCCA, the cars' & parts for sale and touring articles.
I can't wait to see the new "tech" articles. I will admit to not reading the "mystery" articles less than the others.
I also support the idea of placing the for sale "advertisements" on line. A great step in the right direction.
I was wondering aloud if the regions car shows sign up forms, motion submission forms or touring info." could be printed and placed in the magazine loose or on separate pages. I don't know the rules, regulations or costs associated with this idea, but it could allow more pages of Chevy articles & general info. Just a thought.
Another GREAT job by the G&D staff & BOD. Congrats to all of you !!

Ken48 & the rest ya, Summer's here, so come on over any time. And bring a few colds ones.
Well take the beers, the new G&D down to the beach and watch all the lovely ladies stroll by while we read up on the cars and the other things of interest in G&D.
Might even go for a ride in my '41.

Hey Mike41, summer is even here in Vermont......82F today and yesterday. Our local ice cream parlor had their first cruise in last night......I didn't have a new G&D to read so I went and had an ice cream. (Then I went home and had a beer) The old 48 Fleetline was a rarity among the street rods, and the inline 6 really puzzled a few of the really young guys there..ha-ha... :grin:

My neighbor is from your state and he tells me there are only two seasons there, snow & tough sledding....

My G&D got here on Friday.
I was happy to see the '67 on the front cover, the ad for the '63 inside, and the '36 on the back cover. Kind of shows were we are at.
Hey Ken, a lot of those rod guys realy appreciate looking my car over. Most say "It's great to see something like this. You just don't see stock anymore."

Hi Ray, Most say "It's great to see something like this. You just don't see stock anymore." I get similar comments from time to time.......had a cool one the other night....a 30ish father showing his young son my car saying "This is what they really looked like in the old days."

In Norway, we are nearly back to the same delivery situation as one year ago: Still no issues from April (and May) received yet. :(   I really hope there will come some vital progress in this matter this year, both as to the G&D and the ads on webpages.

It is coming, the BOD has waved the wand over the G&D, now they have to work out the details...or so I have heard......
Maybe if we had a good LOW COST MEMBERSHIP DATABASE things could proceed smoother...... (JMHO)
