I have a 31 with the 194 and 3 speed. I'm looking for a pressure plate. Is there any other years that would have been the same?

The Chevrolet parts book does not show a complete pressure plate assembly for pre 1938 models. The outter cover, the actual plate that contacted the disc (Chevrolet called that the pressure plate),levers, springs, etc. were all sold seperatly.Borg-Warner may have sold a complete unit.
The actual plate, with part #836461 moulded on fits some late 1929's,1930 and 1931.The cover fits 1929-31, as do the smaller parts.Nothing interchanges with 1932.
Thats it in a nutshell.

Ok. I will check into Ft.Wayne to rebuild. What about the flywheel. Was it interchangable with any other years?

The late 1929 thru 1931 pressure plate is the same, as is the clutch cover. The late 1929 thru 1931 flywheel is interchangeable as well.

I should have both a rebuilt pressure plate and used flywheel. Don't have time to look before leaving for the SST. Will look when I get back home in a little over a week. If you still need them leave me an email or PM.

I had my flywheel checked and it is ok. But I do need the rivets for the clutch disc. and facings. I have a new clutch disc I bought that is the right size but it is the spring type and hits in the center when I tighten the plate down. I can drill out and use the facings but what do I need to do for rivets?
