1947 sedan delivery

Here is our 47 Sedan Delivery, I bought it in 2020 to keep me busy during the COVID adventure. Was in rough shape when it arrived but the body was all there. patched a bunch of bullet holes, some other minor body work. Found a 216 motor for it, replaced the torque tube with a 53 power glide unit changing gear ratio. Finally had lettering installed June 23, we used the logo from my wife's fathers garage that he open in 46 after the war and sold in the late 80's. it's been to a few shows in southern CT, nice addition to our collection of cars from the 40's. I like to keep them with original drive trains.
