1937 Coupe Spare Tire Hold-Down

These are details of the spare tire hold-down bracket and bolt.

The bolt thread is 7/16 - 20 with a 3/4" head so it is the same size as a lug nut. The lug wrench can be used to turn this bolt. The bolt is about 2 1/4" long with a "body bolt" rounded end.

The bolt threads into a captive nut in a stamped holder that is welded to the underside of the steel floor.
