Re: 1932 steering wheel center position Morten 04/02/24 07:44 PM
When I center my steering wheel, I get center spoke at 12 o'clock, and the other 2 spokes at 4 and 8 o'clock.
Can`t see anyway to change this, whats correct for 1932?

Ole, If the subject gasket was not required until 1939, that might explain why it was loose fitting in the video. The carb has a straight throttle lever, making it a 1936, or earlier.

Dealing with missing parts can be a real headache, especially when it's something as specific as an air horn gasket.

1948 Fleetmaster can't start engine Fixingthe48 04/01/24 12:28 AM
216 engine, Rochester B 1 carb, rebuild kit on order but has not arrived yet.
Trying to start the engine, choke on, it will fire and run for 2 or 3 seconds and die.
I cleaned the carb up pretty well and blew out all the passages. 2 checkballs and seats are clean, the leather piston looks clean enough to work. Floats are set to 1-9/32 & 1-3/4 measured from the gasket.
There is no gasket on top or bottom of the thick insulator under the carb, but I sanded the insulator flat so it shouldn't be leaking much vacuum.
What should I do now ? I am at wits end
